HI. I have a Fireface400. I have this need: hardware output 1 and 2 for the speakers; outputs 7 and 8 for headphones in the control room; question: what hardware output can I give to the singer who has to listen to his voice in a second headphone?

Are there other templates besides Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic headphones? Or, what if I want to adjust for speakers such as Sonus Faber bookshelf speakers?

Digicheck is the best, I've replace RME with other brand since my new mobo does not have the slot for my old HDSP. I'm eyeing on used RME's digicheck compatible with better and affordable price. Hope soon will be back working with Digicheck.

I currently use Voxengo and I can't see the difference between the tools. what is it?

Currently using Babyface Pro on Mac Mini M2 Sonoma 14.5. I have Firmware v125 and Driver v3.28. Will the v3.28 driver, which I believe you said is considered a Kernel Extension, be sufficient to flash my Babyface Pro to the latest version (release 2024-0503 - not sure what flash version that is)? Once flash updated will it still work with v3.28 or will it require either of the two newest drivers, 4.10 DriverKit or 3.31 Kernel Extension?

I want to add one of these to my babyface pro for better audio conversion, headphone outs etc. Would the original ADI 2 be a big step up or should i go for the pro or fsr?

So In order to use this as a hardware insert I was just connect the hardware output to the input on RME? Then hit loop back to place the hardware wherever I want in Total mix? Or do I need to still connect both hardware insert and out cables to the interface?

How do you know you succeeded to install it ?

The software is NOT intuitive! Fortunately the output options, bottom row, are almost idiot proof so that 95+% of the time, audio can be monitored successfully. The 5% of the downtime becomes time to Google competing AD/DA units because we aren't hearing anything. If we can't hear it, then what purpose does the unit serve other than to irritate the end user? The mute and solo buttons don't function in a "typical" fashion. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Basic functionality that is not replicated by software is potentially confusing to the end user and should be covered in the manual in a quick start portion of the manual to facilitate getting up and running ASAP. All that being said, the matrix (once comprehended) gives the end user precise control of signal flow. The support line does a great job for the USA. However, if RME wrote a user's manual that catered to the EU experiences more stringently, the support line might not have as much to do. Just saying

Great video. Butt you should do a dedicated hide button for channels in the UIin the UI. Also add muliselect minimize. And maybe a tooltip for Ctrl Minimize?

Possibly the most illogically designed piece of software in music production. For example, why are the headings for each level of the mixer UNDER the faders???? That in itself is misleading. Not to mention the hidden features (clicking on the wrench) which should NOT be hidden.

Can my companies security policy have changed to somehow no longer allow driverkit drivers to load? We are now getting an error dialog when opening the Fireface USB settings dialog saying the security policy is preventing the loading of the RME USB DriverKit extension (macOS Ventura). The MADIFace was working fine a couple of weeks ago.

Was für ein Unterschied zwischen Original und RME ADI-2 Pro FS! Nach den vielen guten Bewertungen hätte ich nie gedacht, daß derart viel Verlust auftritt: "Räumlichkeit" deutlich eingeschränkt und verhangen, trotzdem aggressiv, steril. Nein, das ist nicht "mein" Wandler.

Can a too loud frequency of 13kHz-15kHz be corrected? In the video I only see frequency up to 10kHz. Thank you.
